2011 Summer Institute of Process Theology
Jon L. Berquist is president of the Disciples Seminary Foundation in Claremont and Berkeley, CA, with ordained standing in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Presbyterian Church (USA), and until recently executive editor for biblical studies for Westminster John Knox Press. He has taught at several institutions as an adjunct professor,including Drew, Eden Seminary, Pacific School of Religion, and Vanderbilt University. A Hebrew Bible scholar, he is also the author and/or editor of numerous books and articles, including Ancient Wine, New Wineskins: The Lord's Supper in Old Testament Perspective.
John B. Cobb, Jr. is Emeritus Professor, Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University; co-founder and currently a co-director of the Center for Process Studies. Cobb is the author of numerous articles and books, including A Christian Natural Theology (Second Edition 2007), Romans, a commentary co-authored with David Lull, and most recently, Spiritual Bankruptcy.
Jeanyne B. Slettom is the director of Process & Faith and co-pastor of Brea Congregational United Church of Christ. She is also an adjunct professor of theology at Claremont School of Theology and United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. She is managing editor of Process Studies and editor of The Process Perspective, by John B. Cobb, Jr., and The Process Perspective II, also by John B. Cobb, Jr.
Marjorie Hewitt Suchocki is Emerita Professor, Claremont School of Theology, where she also served as dean and held the Ingraham Chair. She is a co-director of the Center for Process Studies and director of the Whitehead International Film Festival. She has written a number of articles and books, including God Christ Church, In God’s Presence, and Divinity and Diversity.
